Thursday, Dec 1st is Giving Tuesday! As such, we’re kicking off our December Roundup Partnership with Jersey County ROSC (Recovery Oriented System of Care)!

Jersey County ROSC (Recovery-Oriented System of Care) is a community-based initiative that brings together individuals with lived experience, families, local organizations, healthcare providers, law enforcement, and other community partners to strengthen support for people affected by substance use and mental health disorders. ROSC works to reduce stigma, increase access to resources and recovery support, promote prevention and education, and build a recovery-friendly community where everyone has the opportunity to thrive. 

In addition, ROSC has given back to the community by hosting free laundry days to help individuals and families access an essential service at no cost, easing financial burdens and supporting personal dignity. The council has also organized a personal hygiene drive to collect essential hygiene products for individuals in need, helping improve access to basic necessities. These efforts reflect Jersey County ROSC’s commitment to meeting people where they are, addressing everyday barriers, and building a stronger, more supportive community for everyone.
